David Baldry – Production and Lab Director

David started his career working in R&D for global giants BP and Procter & Gamble.
At P&G he worked in the QA department and then in packaging development. At
P&G David was responsible for the design and execution of Max Factor lipstick
packaging globally.

After a career change in 2003, David qualified top of his class while gaining a
Foundation Degree in Dental Technology.

While studying, David had a placement in an Orthodontic Dental Lab starting in the plaster room and growing with the company until achieving the role of Operations Manager, overseeing the daily running of the lab and managing 20+ staff.

In 2019, David started his own company, Atomic Dental Lab, which specialises in
pressure-formed appliances from digital scans, quickly growing and expanding.

Today, David’s prime objective is to ensure all appliances follow our high-quality
production standards and adherence to all safety and health regulations.

David also implemented and maintained quality assurance protocols to ensure that finished
products meet the exacting specifications and standards at The ClearOrtho.

Never to be left behind the curve David ensures we have the latest advancements in
orthodontic technology and materials.

Outside of work, David is a keen golfer with a 4 handicap and has had 3 hole-in-
ones!
